hacking email password

Respected sir/madam,

I had lodged a compliant on my husband under sec 498,on that time my husband was in u.s.a, so, i had sent few emails to my husband employment officers, stating the case details, and also a few emails to my friend to help me in this case.
my husband without my knowledge, hacked my yahoo password, and took all the print outs of all necessary emails, which is related to my case, and produced a statement in the court, and trying to get divorce easily, by stating under cruelty.

is hacking passwords is a crime? if so, pls tell me how to take action on my husband in this.

Yes it is serious crime under the IT Act.
Lodge complaint to the Cyber Cell , if there is any or to the nearest police station.
It is a criminal offence.
