Is it possible to start a business on guest house, if I took a property on rent? What are the necessary steps I need to follow? In trade licence what type of business can I put in?

you are not the owner of premises . your agreement should specifically mention that you can run a guest house in said premises .

you may also need to intimate muncipal authorites .

Thanks. And, how do I approach to municipal corporation? Is there any form that I have to fill up, apart from trade licence?

U will have to take permission from local municipal authority.
