Gratuity

Respected Members,

Wanted to know if people working in Educational Institutions are eligible for Gratuity under the Act.

Especially, would like to know Teachers who will be working in Private Schools if they complete 5 years are they entitled for Gratuity.

Teachers were made eligible with retrospective effect from 1997.........and Sec:2(e) was inserted in Payment of Gratuity Act,1972.

Which are the other persons working in Educational Institutions..............other than teachers whose eligibility you want to inquire!
