Yes it can be done by way of cancellation deed but both should sign stating some reasonable reasons

There should be valid ground for cancellation of the gift deed and should also be registered before the registrar and further donee should made declaration in the cancellation deed that he/she has not transferred the gifted property to any person.

No. Gift deed once registered and possession of property delievered to donee, there is no scope of its cancellation even on mutual agreement of donor and donee. Donee may again donate the property to earlier donor.
