divorce by mutual understanding

dear sir/mam,
Actually we got married in oct 2009, so is it possible to take the divorce by mutual consent before completion of one year after marriage ? kindlly do let me know about the entire procedur... how long will this take ?

You cannot file for divorce within one year from the date of marriage. After filing the petition, a date after 6 months for second motion shall be fixed and the matter will be send for conciliation. If no reconciliation is possible then in the next hearing divorce shall be granted.

since when r u residing separately? 1 yr after the dt of separation only u can file for divorce by mutual consent.
u will get mutual consent divorce after six months from the dt of filing, iff u both r ready for it after six months of filing.If any one is not consenting party after six months then u cannot get divorce.
