Are LLPs registered in India allowed to make investment in the overseas capital markets thru shares listed in those markets particularly in the US stock markets, Nasdaq and dow jones?

yes. With the pernmission of RBI it can be done.

Sir,

I want to incorporate an LLP with the sole intent of profiting from making investments in stocks(shares) listed on domestic and overseas stock markets. Can you please tell me whether SEBI will allow me to do this?
Also if it can be done can you please elaborate the procedure briefly or direct me to someone who can actually help me in completing the formal procedure for applying for permission with RBI?
