Epf benefits for a deceased wife

My Niece Husband died of a sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 34 while in service. Please let me know what are the sums that she is eligible to claim from EPF Office. He was working as a senior Manager in a Manufacturing concern and was drawing appx 60K per month. They have no issues. She and her mother in law are the nominees with 50% sharing.

For actual figure you have to get in touch with the office personnel.

The actual amount of the EPF and other payments can be known from the HR department of the concern in which the deceased worked.

If the heart attack was due to stress and strain the family may succeed to claim for compensation.On this you may seek legal opinion from a lawyer handling such cases.

The company might have obtained group insurance and can help for death claim.

The Chairman can announce and provide monetary help and even job to spouse. Try for it.

The company shall arrange to disburse FNF settlement of deceased employee including earned wages, Gratuity, Bonus, leave encashment, attestation of PF forms , Pension etc………………..

It is believed that deceased was Hindu.
The funds can be released to nominees and nominees being the only ClassI legal heir shall retain the amounts …………….
