Irrevocable power of attorney

If A signs an irrevocable power of attorney with B to negotiate on behalf of A regarding the sale of a joint property belonging to A, and in the mean time the sale of the joint property is carried out by the other beneficiaries who are joint owners of property belonging to A, is the irrevocable power of attorney signed with B still binding?

The irrevocable power of attorney is given for the purpose of negotiations only.The purpose of the power of attorney completed as soon as the sale negotiations has been completed by the joint owners.There is no value of the power of attorney right now as the purpose has been completed.
