In a civil dispute, a contempt petition was moved on Respondents 1 to 5. The proceedings are going on for almost 2 years and After inspection of court file i moved an application un/s 151 that the counsels appearing on behalf respondents 2 and 3 were appearing in the past 2 years without any authority or power or attorney [Vakalatanama]. the reply filed by the counsel on behalf of the Respondent 2 and 3, do not have supporting affidavits and attorney [Vakalatnama.
while respondent 5 didnot bother to reply till date.
only respondent 1,4 and 5 have replied and filed affidavit and vakalatnama.
can the court strike off the right to reply for respondent 5 and send notice to respondent 2 and 3 to file affidavits and reply.
what if respondent 2 and 3 also donot file affidavit and reply after court notice.

Vakalathnama is the only document which authorizes a lawyer to represent his client in the proceeding and no reply or vakaltnama is filed by respondents no. 2 & 3, they shall stand proceeded as ex-parte.
