161 & 162 crpc

(Querist) 23 February 2012 This query is : Resolved
I heard somewhere that if they are typed FIR and typed 161 CrPC statements, presumption can be taken as they hit 162 CrPC. Is it true/not, if so are there any citations. Please.

there is no provision that fir should not betyped. However if statement bears sig. of maker it is hit by sec162 cr.p.c.

Your presumption has no value in the eyes of law and there is no citation in support of your presumption.
