F.i.r - private doctor report

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi

Can F.I.R be lodged based on private doctor report/slip. I am not aware whether doctor has mentioned the reason of injury there on the slip/report or not.

Will this be an evidence in eyes of court as well or not?

If doctor has just mentioned the problem and the treatment/medicine for the same then can it be used against me that i have been the cause of injury to that person. Kindly guide.

Yes. the report is just an intimation. based upon the injured has to give complaint or statement to the police. then only the FIR can be registered.

FIR be lodge of the offence not of the report, it is immetirial that the treatment was done by the private or govt. doctor.
