Work location Harassment

I am working in MNC company located in Bangalore past serveral year. I am experiancing more harassment from supervisor and manager.

Earlier I used to report to male supervisor and experienced 33 harassments issues brought into Business of Practive team knowledge requested action against those. During this investigation was going on, I detected with cancer, since I was working almost 18hours in office with harassment, stress, no support, politics, paratiality, work load etc., I worked around 6months with this condition. After treatment returned to office with withdrawn all 33 issues, since I was not in that stage. Again this harassment conditioned and I was not bothered because of my health condition.

Year 2008 IT manager got changed and year 2009 supervisor got changed. From day one IT manager threatens staff. IT supervisors making nonsense and purposely taking on ride.

She lies on each and every comments, when tried to argu, straigent action taking on us.

One good incident is that, earlier staff use to pay money on monthly basis for birthday celebration. Only 3 or 4 staff used to pay and rest of them was not paying. So I raised voice and said that, I don't want paid service. I will celebrate without money transaction. For this she made comments in yearly performance saying "xxxxx is not respecting to co-worker". When she say something and do accordingly, when we tried to update about the tasks, she says that I have misunderstood. Similary 1 incident happend and took clarification from around 15 staff and all are said that she is said different in the meeting.

When I complaint about colleage on official issues, immediately she calls all the staff and says that, he is complaining about them. She is complaining about specific subject and don't call any one in this discussion.

I am seeing her from past 10years, always she lies and twist issues itself, do the arguments that, she did not say that, even IT manager says that she did not say that and complain back with different issues.

I have started recording all the issues, which is making mental harassment for me to file case against her with local HR, if HR or company not taken action, I want to sue MNC company for this.

if you cannot adjust with the set up there,try to leave the company as fighting wont yield any positive out come in MNC generally.

Today I had discussed with local HR and updated the below issues. They asked me send email to Global HR and Office of business practice.



Please find the detailed 37 issues pointed out (still more are there). Also I have around 30 issues apart from this, which recorded in the document. Also I would like include all 67 issues while filing the civil suite.

1. Unauthorized Cisco router was connected in different office and was connected AS400 server without firewall. It’s very big criminal, since anybody can easily hack network cause major damage and was hidden by another supervisor and (This supervisor) for 7 years. None of the supervisors brought to anyone’s knowledge. This was used by one of the south Indian dealer.

2. IBM Power edge server purchased EDC purpose by paying 38lakhs and did not use it for any purpose for single day. Even brought into supervisors (old supervisor, another colleague & (This supervisor)) knowledge nobody has taken into serious. Wasted corporate fund.

3. (This supervisor) always manipulated all her problems and lied to Management. There are 100 of incidents which have happened in Thiruvallur and Chennai. Virus issues, Security issues, EDC Project execution, ISA activities. During 2001 to 2005 I have visited to Thiruvallur plant very frequently to fix all her lies & issues.

4. (This supervisor) always claims that, she is perfect and others are all wrong. Always argue and raise her voice unprofessionally.

5. Requested Storage & Backup Project details for execution, she did not supported for any project, but she is supporting for Aravind and Chennai people.

6. DHCP Cluster configuration project idea provided and planned for kick of mini project, she did not support, but she supported Aravind to execute the project.

7. Printer requirements & Issues. When she moved to Bangalore, she gave printer activities to colleague and did not share to any team member about this activity. When I received request from Managing director – Business leader for new printer, when I approached her on this, she said my colleague will take care. When I approached colleague said that he is working with different project. When asked her, again she abused me and manipulated issues and blaming on this and she says you guys are taking your own interest and doing activities…

8. No Recognition and No appreciation

9. Not responding majority of my emails and majority of the time, she doesn’t respond.

10. Not sharing information or not discussing any thing that applies to me. She has assigned lot of projects to different team and they are not part of my team, even not sharing any project details & outcomes, even being sent a mail.

11. Adamant decision, enforcing her own ideas which are causing business and operations harm, Very frequently uses words “I don’t care to anyone; you go and escalate any one, I know how to fix…”.

12. Generated 33 ideas No response for Idea. But she is promoting Chennai team idea and sending recognitions. Even doesn’t shown minimum courtesy

13. Behavioral issues – I had planned to visit Hosur for some activities. So I thought to help another colleague for mounting Hardware in rack (approximate 30kg) Since colleague met with bike accident and had surgery and put rod on the leg and he can’t stand or hold weight, I thought to help on mounting riverbed hardware. I told her about this, suddenly she manipulated topic itself, telling me that, I am involving other area.

14. Negative response on any my proposal – Storage scripts, Access control migration plans, but she supported Chennai person on this, and he executed activities without consultation with team members. She is favoring only to Chennai people. Very often she make statement that, she loves Tamil.

15. Politics made by Thiruvallur colleague & Chennai Colleague in India R&R project, even brought into my immediate supervisor & manager notice, however no action taken on this.

16. I am uncomfortable to discuss anything with her as she has a very negative approach & answer first and later don’t get response itself.

17. Some time not allowing leading issues and she support Chennai people.

18. 11th Feb 2011 told all members to give any process improvement idea. Female colleague specifically clarified about 6 sigma project. So (This supervisor) said that, any thing including sigma. After sending a mail to her, she commented about “Manju, I think you have misunderstood the whole context. I was asking about 6 Sigma ideas…” Entire team members heard about (any projects idea) this during meeting and negatively replied and blaming on me.

19. 21st Feb 2011 at 9.45am, asked suggestions thru same time for converting IM ticket to CM ticket, she asked to check with IAN and told that all are done. So requested suggestion for conversion IM ticket to CM – Minor ticket. She asked to check with Chennai people for execution.

20. AP Storage and backup project : Always she used to schedule meeting at 5.30 & 6.30pm (early morning), I was not attended early morning meeting, since meeting time was uncomfortable time, I was working on 1 to 10pm shifting and I was reaching at 11.30pm and sleeping at 12pm after dinner. The need more sleep due to my health condition. For this she called and shouting and abusing over the phone. I said, I can’t attend the meeting since it to early for me. Without listening starting shouting on me, I told her to contact my supervisor and disconnect the line.

21. Whenever I bring team member issues to her knowledge to her, she is calling all members and says that, Manjunath is complaining about you and discussing issues in front of employees. For the takes into discussion room.

22. Received comments during July 2011 in one-one meeting, Kalyan did not receive the support for his activities and she said that don’t go and ask Kalyan. This is unacceptable. When I had personal discussion with Kalyan, he said that, he has road blocks for completion project. He said that I have over helped him on this project.

23. Received comments during May 2011, Firewall request got delayed from my side for CBS project and finally after Sathish involvement firewall got approved. Even she is being ISA and Supervisor; she knows the process and roles of individual ISA and making unethical statement on me. I am level 1 coordinator and Sathish is approver. After my analysis I need to forward to Tom or Sathish for approval. If information incorrect in firewall request form, until I have clear information evidence, I can’t submit for form for approval.

24. I have updated my communication difficulties, since I had cancer and got surgery & radiotherapy from head till throat, majority times I will have inflammation from head until food pipe. I can’t speak during inflammation and get struck during conversation because nerve will stretch. For this I made comments myself in Performance Development Plan (PDP). She is misunderstood and made hasty comments in PDP.

25. I will not accept any comments made in PDP, since she made own comments.

26. Finance Process company and Logistic company employees always prefer me for getting job done, because for quality and complete activities. They personally come to my desk for suggestion for any IT related including development, support activities, drafting service agreements any unresolved issues etc., Specifically people will ask service desk team to assign the tasks to me. Last week Service desk employee made comment that, “Darling of Cat Logistics” and other colleagues made a comment that always employee prefers Manjunath & Sunil. For this (This supervisor) instructed to not go any floors and do the activities. Fact is Cat Logistics and APSSC staffs are made compliant about her that, she always manipulates the issues and they are not comfortable in talking with her.

27. All team members are not raising any issues, because she takes revenge on employee and spoil the career by making loose comments

28. (This supervisor) always claims that, that/this is not been followed her, my old supervisor did not followed etc., Majority comments are her own imaginations, not fact.

29. Blowing out of proportion the negligible issues either customer issues or team member issues, so that next times person will not bring up any issues wither due to fear of blowing up the issues.

(IT Manager) Issues

30. (This Manager) when she came to India, first day first meeting she threatened all employees that will be terminated and sounded very unprofessional.
31. In EOS 2010 password forms distribution she made unethical statement to all employees saying “IF anyone has guts to put a comments in EOS, Let me see that guy.”

32. When I met (This Manager) on one-one (First time), I was sharing my experience that, I have implemented Server applications etc. Immediately she said that you messed it. How she can make comments without even listening

33. In Employee development plan meeting she made statement and threatened employees to not to dream on growth. Whatever supervisor says need to be accepted. It’s unethical statement and violation of India law article 21.

34. She asked me to draft mail for employee awareness on laptop safety and security, Since corporate had laptop safety and security material, I wanted to show her, so I went to her cabin, immediately she is shouting on me using word that “don’t come to my office, I have appointed supervisor for this, you go and check”…

35. She made open comments, which I heard when passing that, she don’t want Kumar and his old staff.

36. Earlier very few employees used to contribute Rs. 100 for (fun at work) celebrating employee birthday and wedding anniversary. Very few employee always used to pay and rest of them use to enjoy the benefits. Since I observed this kind of partiality on celebration, I made a comment with (This Manager) saying, “I don’t want paid birthday wishes. Without contribution, will celebrate.” For this she made comments in PDP saying that, I am not respecting people.

37. I worked as greenbelt for CLSI Project “Caterpillar network for agency employee”, during project had security concerns on few areas and she instructed me to not approve the project. One 6 sigma project meeting, CLSI team requested the support from (This Manager) and argument started and finally it reached high pitch. (This Manager) & (Another Manager) talking in very loud like fighting in public in loud without manners. After this quarrel she requested to not approve this project and requested to give some evidence, where made comments on Indian attitude & behavioral issues. Specifically used word that “Any cost, she need articles or information for not approving the project

38. Last week I met IT manager in cabin and was expressed concern on IT manager health and shown spritial Guru
capabilities. Also expressed the spritial guru resolved my residence calling bell ringing without human intervention. Suddenly she calls all her direct reporters saying that "Manjunath is telling stories. Please listen sudhakar, priya, vikas (all are supervisors)..." It my personal issues, more over it is confidential and privacy issues.
