Membership in a society

Dear Sir,

I have purchased a flat in Borivali Gorai,We have done registration in January 2010,but secratary of the society has denied me membership because he claims that the owner from whom i have purchased the flat had manipulated society accounts when he was the secratary till 2005.i am in pocession of the flat, pleas advise how should i take membership of society

you just send the notice to him and remove the previous owner of the our flat. and including in my name.

1)when you purchased flat did you obtain no objection certificate from the Society?
2)in the event you have obtained No objection certificate and filed proper applications along with supporting documents for transfer of flat Secretary is required to place the same before the Managing Committee for approval
3)please clarify as to whether you have received a letter in writing from secretary refusing your application for transfer .
4) in the event you have not received any such letter you can complain to Registrar against the Society
