Respected Sir,

I want to know what is charge sheet? what are the ingredients of charge sheet? Who files it and what is the purpose of charge sheet? What is the differnce between charge and charge sheet?

Since you appear to be a law student , please go through the relevant chapter of Crpc. By going through the provisions you would learn on your own. The answer here would not help you.
Bear in mind that there is no short cut way to learning.

Devajyoti is right in his advice, if you intend to learn as a student. If not a student, you may give the case history with reference to which you want to learn about the chargesheet and the charge. Chargesheets are prepared not only in court cases, but also in misconduct cases of employees in service of Government or private employment for departmental inquiries.

charge sheet is filed under section 173 Cr.P.C. it is the final report of investigation and it is filed by the investigation officer who investigate the case and after this the court supplies the copies to the accused of this final report and after that the court frames the charge against the accused persons. so charge sheet is filed first and after that the charge is framed this is for your information and go through the book of CrPC
