Yes IPC is applicable for any criminal offices committed irrespective of the fact that the offender is already in judicial custody.

Of course.. I.p.c only applicable for any offense in india.. Who will be as complainant?

For our expert's kind knowledge, with in my knowledge, in this situation we can't deal this case as usual.. I mean directly police don't have rights to file f.i.r and can't start investigation.. As per prison's act the jail warden or superintent have to lodge a private complaint against the accused.. This is the procedure for prisoned accused..

SAME PROCEEDURE IS APPLICABLE AS IF OFFENCE HAS BEEN COMMITED BY AN OTHER PERSON, WHO IS NOT A CONVICT.
