Can we inform the chief justice if a judge of the high court is giving biased judgments based on the appearance of his old colleague

Why not? if you have sound proofs. I have posted this problem on forum that. Why the HC judges resident of same state, are not posted to other state HC.

Right I agree with Arvind. You can also complaint to the Supreme Court Chief.

On the basis of very strong and concrete proof for your complaint,you can lodge the complaint to the Chief Jusitce. If he does not take any action,you can submit the same to the Cheif Jusitce of India as well.

But you have to complain based upon a strong proof. Complaints without proof will be taken only as mere threats.

Firstly U should approach the judge & ask for release of the matter on the ground stated by U. If it is refused, U should approach the Chief Justice of the HC.
