cutting of salary

Sirs,

An employee's weekly off was shifted to another day and no notice in writing was given to the Employee, by the Employer.

The Employee was absent on usual weekly off day.

The Employer cut the salary for that day.

Pls advise as to whether it is mandatory for the Employer to give notice in writing to the Employee, directly, about the change of weekly off day or is enough to display in the Notice board

it is absolutely necessary that a personal notice has to be served whenever there is a change in the weekly off of an employee. putting it on the notice board will not suffice. otherwise it will be violation of principles of natural justice.

1.YOU SEEM TO BE WORKING WITH SOME PVT.ORGANISATION WHERE THEY DO NOT FOLLOW ANY RULES AND REGULATIONS JUST LIKE GOVT.ORGANISATIONS.
2.YOUR ONE DAY SALARY IS DEDUCTED,YOU MAY MAKE AN APPLICATION TO YOUR PERSONNEL OFFICER OR OWNER AND MENTION THE FACTS IN A POLITE LANGUAGE AND DO NOT ENTER IN TO ANY HOT ARGUMENTS WITH THEM AS PRIVATE ORGANISATIONS DO NOT FOLLOW ANY RULES IT MAY RESULT IN YOU LOOSING YOUR JOB .PLEASE NOTE.
YOU MAY GET SALARY FOR THE SAID ONE DAY IF ANY GENUINE MISTAKE IS THERE .
YOU HAVE ALTERNATIVE REMEDY TO FILE APPLICATION TO LABOUR COURT BUT IT MAY RESULT IN YOU LOOSING YOUR JOB.PLEASE NOTE.
BE POLITE AND CALM AND QUITE AND DO NOT TAKE ANY RASH DECISION .WHICH MAY RESULT IN LOOSING YOUR JOB AND SUFFERING LOSS OF FUTURE SALARY PLEASE NOTE.

while agreeing with what Mr.Nandkumar says,if your firm is a private one,before writing a letter in this regard,it is better to talk to the owner/hr manager,stating that your absence was not purposefully done.
