Dear sir
I own a land in madurai.When i want to purchase another land can i exchange the land what i possess if so what are the registration charges

relinquishment deed is enough.

The market value of both the properties is if same then no charges qua stamp paers are required and only registration charges shall suffice but if there is difference then the stamps at the prevailing collector rates shall be payable by the party receiving greater valued property calculable over the difference of area or value.
