Can I change my name officially from the existing to a new one. What will be the impact of the change in the existing Official Documents like passport, AADHAR card, PAN card, Bank Accounts &property documents etc.What is the procedure for change of name.

Better issue gazette notification which could be annexed to every document.

Sworn affidavit, insertion in two news papers and publication in official gazette need to be carried.

Name would not be changed in educational documents and property documents.

For change in other Id. documents follow the procedure for change.
