Survey of a plot in unapproved layout

Sir/Madam,
I have a plot in an unapproved layout in municipal limits in Andhra Pradesh. Now, i'm not in a position to identify my plot in that layout as the boundary stones are missing.
I request you to guide me to whom to consult to get the plot surveyed and identified - Tahsildar officials or Municipal Officials

Take help of some patwari / land revenue office.

You have purchased a plot not agricultural land. From whom you have purchased the plot. Contact the seller who might be having a site plan/map though it is unapproved layout. There must be some layout plan to bifurcate the land into plots. Try to get this one and then you can engage any private surveyor who can be of help.

The suggestion made by expert Mr. Malipeddi Jagga Rao seems to be more appropriate. This being an unapproved layout, the Taluk Office may not be having the records hence the suggestion made by the expert can bring some solution to your issue.
