One of my employee has been retrenched. He has served 4yrs. 7 mths & 22 days in service with us. Is he entiltled for Gratuity ?

The retrenched employee may plead that he/she was retrenched to avoid payment of Gratuity....

Thanks Mr. Shah & Mr. Doab

My establishment works 6 days a week.

There are 5 others who were also retrenched but unfortunately they qualify for their Gratuity.( they hav more than 10 yrs service)
