Thefted jewels

We lost our jewels by theft made in our house by our maid servant and her husband themselves. We lodged a complaint nearby Police station in Coimbatore. The Police team enquired them and they recovered all the jewels and cash from them and the police people swallowed themselves the entire jewels and cash. And till date they are simply saying that they are searching the accused in our case.
I given so many complaints to the Commissioner of police and Chief Minister’s grievance also. There is no any response till date.
Please anyone advise me how to recover our jewels from the police.

If POLICE became CHOR in your case, inform home ministry/ prime Minister/ President ofIndia, Media,

If there was panchnama made after recovery of the jewels by the police, apply for that copy and approach with that copy to the Government as suggested by the expert. The government can be held liable under the law of tort here.

In such a case I doubt any panchnama was done.
