fir was registered u/s 7 of prevention of corruption act without any pre trap or post trap memorandum prepared...accordingly case was investigated by sub inspector of state police and after submission of chargesheet cognizance was taken by spl. judge vigilence. now hon'ble court is asking whether state police are authorised to investigate vgilence cases and since informant of this f.i.r is b.d.o ,wl it constitue a case under vigilence r nt.... kindly post any judgement of apex crt wthr state police is authorised r nt

You did not tell if the accused is central /state/PSU employee
ANy way sub inspector was nto competent it is only Inspector (consult PC Act)
You also did not say anything about sanction of prosecution
