SIR,
MY WIFE HAS FILED A COMPLAINT CASE ON ME AND MY BROTHERS UNDER VARIOUS NON BAILABLE SECTIONS OF IPC.JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE DIRECTED THE POLICE STATION TO REGISTER AN FIR.FIR HAS BEEN REGISTERED.NOW CAN POLICE ARREST ME OR MY BROTHERS?SHOULD I APPLY FOR ANTICIPATORY?
Rajeev Kumar (Expert) 19 February 2012
The police have right to arrest any person who is booked under non bailable offence. So immediately apply for anticipatory bail and get it as early as possible.

BUT SIR, IT IS A COMPLAINT CASE AND NOT A DIRECT FIR LODGED IN POLICE STATION.I HEARD THAT UNLESS INVESTIGATION BY POLICE IS COMPLETED POLICE CANNOT ARREST.
Kiran Kumar (Expert) 19 February 2012
find out the correct allegations made against you...if necessary seek anticipatory bail.

visit some local lawyer for proper direction.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 20 February 2012
If the offences alleged are cognizable nd police is directed to register FIR they may loose career (may be even loose job ifmore unlucky) if fail to arrest you. You should immediaely contact your lawyer.
