Hosting in website

(Querist) 23 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
Respected Sirs,
I want to make a website.
The site will contain all the legal documents and the documents collected non-officially belonging to murder.
So, is it allowable in our indian law?
please help me.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 23 January 2012
There is no legal restraint to upload the decisions of the courts in India.
However the decisions should not be copied from any other websites.

The meaning of 'documents collected non-officially belonging to murder' is not understood by me.
Deepak Nair (Expert) 23 January 2012
You can upload every public documents. If the said unofficially obtained documents are confidential or which are privilaged, then you are not entitled to make it public.

Please clarify Mr.Burmanm's pont so as to get better reply.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 23 January 2012
Doc collected should be with permission of it's author. Violation may cost you.
Non officially belonging to murder?? what do u mean by that??

For Commercial use, you may have to take permission from owner/ author/ website
sarada_prasan (Querist) 23 January 2012
Respected Sirs,
Non-official document: the letter of police to the expert and expert's reply letter, are not submitted to the court. so I have collected the things non-officially by requesting either police / expert.
Can I publish these reports in website?
All other documents I have taken are the true copy from the court.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 23 January 2012
No, these are confidential documents and uploading it would not only breach privacy but even attract defamation.

Never upload any private communications in public platform.

I think, this is why judiciary is blind or forcibly made blind, not to see the things happening in the system, causing more and more disasters.
I thank all respected sirs for their opinion.
