in case of a ongoing labour dispute - where labour concilliation is going on and the concilliation authority ( jnt labour commisionar ) has taken the case under 12/2 of id act , where the worker is under stop work - can the management stop salary - if it stops what should be done.

management is not bound to disburse salary without work. If workers have stopped working, it is the right of the management to reply accordingly. You may take up this matter in your ongoing conciliation proceeding and there is no other solution to latest development.

'no work' 'no wages'the former is your decision and the latter is of the management. Here Newton's laws of motion is in force.

Normaly when a conciliation is going on a strike is un warented. It may become illegal also. If the workers struk work, their wages need not be paid.

Can a worker expect wages without performing his job? If the conciliation process is going on, the worker should not have resorted to stop work. That way he is showing sheer distrust towards the conciliation authority, which is quite unfair on his part.
