Dear Sir(s)/Madam(s),
If a criminal appeal is filed u/s 378(4) CRPC in a HC is it numbered / called as "CRL.LP"
if the respondent wishes to give his reply to the appeal is he allowed to give it in writing. What will it be called as " Reply to the Appeal" or some other technical name ?
All are requested Pl guide I am a law student and wish to know the technical terms which are not specified in books more often.
Also does it requires to give parawise reply in criminal case also in an appeal like it is under the civil law or the respondent can simply give submissions supporting him without specifically denying the petition parawise like in civil matter?

Apart from reply of Ganesan, you may also write Reply to Petition or even Written Statement to the Petition.
