Hi We have an employee who caused us much damage and before we could terminate him, he sent in his resignation. Is it legal to not accept his resignation and terminate him?

If disciplinary action had been initiated before the resignation letter, it could be pursued and orders passed on merits.resignation letter is not a bar to proceed disciplinary action.

You can ignore the resignation letter and terminate him if needed.
