Hi All,
I am undergoing a divorce and my wife has not mentioned in 498/Maintanence cases that she consumed poison herself.
I would like to know
1. If the suicide note she left before consuming the poison will be a good ground to obtain divorce as she has suicidal tendencies.
So that I can produce the same in my divorce case.
Thanks and Regards,
Kiran

You can put that peice of evidence in divorce case but no comment can be passed whether the same is sufficient to seek divorce without knowing its contents. It may sometime go against husband. There may be reason provided by husband or her in-laws leading the wife to take such harsh step and if souch reason is mentioned in the suicide note then it shall definitely go against husband.
Generally such tendency of suicide do not develop in anyone without having heavy reasons.sufficient reasons

the suicide attempt could be an immature decision of the 'moment'. unless ,it could be established with the help of a psychologist,it cannot be presumed that she is having a suicide tendency.
