Salary not received from employer for last two months

Sir/Madam,
Have been working as an Accountant in a Private limited company from last 23 years. Employer has not paid me salary for the month of November as on 06.01.2025 & December-24 salary has also become due. When approached bosses, they give excuses of insufficient funds in bank accounts & aren't paying my salary. I don't understand what to do.. Kindly help !

What are the terms and conditions of the company at the time of joining the company? Issue a legal notice through a lawyer to the company to pay your salary and then proceed legally.

You have been associated with this company for the last 23 years as an employee hence you should know the details and facts of the company, you may decide whether taking legal action against the company in this regard would be detrimental to your employment or it will benefit you and take decision accordingly

Thank you for your valued responses ! I've been requesting company management to release my salary to pay off my obligations pending yet no attention has been paid by the company. I just need to know if i should contact labour commissioner to get my dues settled. The company is about to wind up & i fear i may not be paid my fnf as well.

You be mentally prepared when the company decides to fire you for the proposed legal action that you may initiate to recover your salary, if you are prepared then you can proceed legally against the company.
