This query is : Resolved
It is a settled position of law that once a right of redemption is exercised and readiness was shown for the payment of mortgage debt, the mortgagee is not entitled to claim any interest on the Mortgage debt.

No! unless the mortgage money with interest is deposited in court the law and courts will not consider the mortgage debt fully redeemed. Mere Readiness and willingness to repay the mortgage money isn't sufficient.

Why do you repeat same story time and again? Is it not time pass query? However, if you are not satisfied with FREE response from experts on this platform you should have consulted a professional local prudent lawyer instead of repeating, which is absurd, ridiculous and stupidity. Sheer abuse of this site, which should have been filtered and deleted by Admin LCI.

I support experts Mr. Vashista and Mr.Dhingra .Repeated queries be deprecated. In fact this site should also develop a filter for such query.
