pay protection of adhoc services

(Querist) 17 March 2016 This query is : Resolved 
Sir, a doctor appointed as Medical officer in entry grade on adhoc basis,and after having served around 10 yrs as adhoc, gets appointed on regular basis in the same pay scale through open competitive exams conducted by state public service commission. Will he be eligible for pay protection?

His pay will be protected as per general rules. however consult a local lawyer who is dealing with service matters.

Generally benefit of ad hock service is extended, discuss with state government service matter expert.
