Lease deed

Sir,

I have a query regarding lease deed.My father had signed a lease deed with tenant that doesn't specific any time period of such lease deed. i have following questions in this regard:-

Can you tell me about the nature of such lease deed? Is it treated as perpetual lease deed?Can we get possession of that property through file eviction petition?
