Community certificate

Dear sir/madam,

I belong to Schedule tribe. My wife belong to OBC. I would like to get a community certificate for my son in my wife's community for various reasons. is it possible?

The eligibility of your son depends upon the facts and circumstances how your son is being brought up.

Yes the child can adopt either parent's community, so there is nothing wrong in he obtaining your wife's community certificate.
