Regarding writ petition

(Querist) 07 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
i recently filed a writ petition in high court. On the very first hearing on 6th august , hon'ble judge ordered that i must submit a representation attested by other party (respondents) that they dont agree with me on the issue. My lawyer asked for 11th of august as next hearing and that was given to us.on same day , i approached other party and they started reconsidering my appeal which they had flatly refused before me filing the writ. Since there are just 2 working days between 6th and 11th , i may not be able to submit that representation on or before 11th.
1.Is it possible that my lawyer can get some more time?( although seems highly unlikely as we stressed on such short period)
2. If this petition is dismissed, can i file a new one after i obtain that representation form other party

Extension of time should be preyed.

Your lawyer can very well seek extension of time if he is not able to get the requirement on time.
