Hi Respected Sir/Madam

My Bhabi put 498a and DV case on my brother and parents It has been more than 18 months.
My doubt is:
Can she file sec 406 even after 18 months or is there is any limitation period for filing sec 406.

As the offences charged under Section 406 IPC is punishable with three years imprisonment, the limitation in this case would be three years.
