Corrupt magistrate

I applied for an ARMS LICENCE under Family Heirloom Policy in 2010 and was finally granted the same in 2013. I had to move the Home Department for this.

Now the Magistrate concerned is refusing to pass the order which will finally enable me to repossess my deceased father's gun. I have even paid bribe of Rs.2000/-, but the Magistrate refuses to even touch my file.

How to deal with this situation without going to Court? Shall I seek the help of Vigilance/CBI?

You could seek the informations thro RTI for the reasons of delay in allottings.If you have other plans consult a local lawyer

You can file WRIT PETITION IN HIGH COURT.

You can approach the High Court.

You say you have bribed Rs. 2000/- to the magistrate. Was it direct or through some mediator. If so, you could get him trapped.

approaching CBI/Vigilance bureau is faster remedy but before that you should have stuck deal of bribe directly with the suspect.

rest of the matter is a matter of procedure which I don't want to discuss on open forum, for that you contact CBI/Vigilance office.

I may also disagree with Mr Goyal;. Since bribe stands aid no trap cannot be arranged. trap is laid before paying bribe so that the suspect is caught red handed.

I agree wit experts' opinion. Bribe act should be caught red handed for effectiveness.
