WANT TO TRANSFER NAME IN PROPERTY TAX RECEIPT i LIVE IN PUNE (MAHARASHTRA) I WANT TO TRANSFER IN MY MOTHER NAME AFTER DEATH OF MY FATHER ( I , MY MOTHER AND MY SISTER ARE LEGAL HEIR ) MY FATHER HAD NOT LEFT ANY WILL WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR THIS PROCESS & COST.

Obtain the legal heir certificate from the competent court and you and your sister can relinquish your rights over the property in your mother's name. After completing the documentation your mother's name can be entered in the property records.

You and your sistr shall have to register a relinquishment deed in favour of your mother in consultation with the lcal lawyer.
