i am transferring a plot of land to a trust as gift. is capital gain tax applicable with special reference to section 50C. AND WILL STAMP DUTY ON TRANSFER OF LAND ALSO APPLICABLE.

As the property is being gifted to a charitable trust so the question of capital tax do not arise but definitely you shall have to pay stamp duty.
