One of the colony residents want to form some constitution for colony development purposes etc,

Whats the procedure to register the same and under which law it will be registered???????????

It just an association of members. contact the auditor in this aspect and he will guide to form, register and frame by laws etc.

if you want to registered a society or Welfare association the first you need to make a constitution of the association/bye-laws after that you need registration of this society/welfare association.

Make a resident's welfare association, name that with a unique name, not already registered with the Registrar office, form adhoc body by electing a president, secretary and other members of working committee, draft a constitution with the help of constitution of some other resident welfare association, apply for registration with the registrar of with constitution, list of members and other required documents for approval.
