Please indicate the following:
Did you send the legal notice by Registered post?
Did the said registered post came back to you undelivered?
What is the remarks given by the Postal Department on the registered post returned undelivered to you?

I do agree with experts. If the registered notice has been turned down it is itself a ground of action before the court

Legal notice was sent by a lawyer. There is now an issue that the lawyer is not giving back the legal notice being sent and not confirming the delivery status by postal department.
Also, accused informed that he has not accepted the notice.
It is a situation where client is in fix. Neither he can trust his lawyer nor the accused at the first place.
What the options now ??
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 29 August 2011
These facts you could have told us in the first instance.
What made you not to reveal these facts while putting your query?
Query based on incorrect-facts will get only in-correct answer.

Why are you in fix. I think you have problem with your lawyer. Make and compromise with him and proceed according to his advice. Lawyers have their own ethics and they work according to that.
