What is the time between FIR to Chargesheet

are there guidelines or law to police ,
In how much time the PS can take from FIR to Chargesheet?

Is there any time out say 2,3 weeks or ?

there is no time limit for chargesheet/final report.
If accused is arrested then section 167(2) CrPC will be guiding force and if chargesheet is not filed within specified time then accused is entitled to bail.

there is no mandatory provision to file charge sheet

Though there is no time limit but the court has certainly got the power to direct the IO to file chargesheet within such time as it may deem fit.

after FIR court of trail can ask the IO to make the charge sheet with in 90 days, are even early.

90 days when the accused is in police custody otherwise limitation period of offence, which is 3 years for 498A.

within 90 days chargesheet will have to be filed, but police explains the delay in delay in filing the chargesheet.
