Sir,
I won the case in lower court (Trial Court) but it went against me in the High Court. How much time limitation prescribed for appeal in the Supreme Court. In my mind there is confusion regarding time period for appeal.
KINDLY NOTE THAT CIVIL AND CRIMINAL MATTERS APPEAL PERIOD IS ALREADY MENTIONED IN THE RESPECTIVE CODES. CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE.KINDLY NOTE IT IS NINTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF JUDGEMENT. YOU MAY KINDLY SEND COPY AND DETAILS OF THE JUDGEMENT AND APPEAL WITHIN THE LIMITATION PERIOD,DO NOT DELAY THE MATTER. Limitation is 90 days + time spent on obtaining Certified copy of Decree/order. If that has passed, file the SLP alongwith an application U/S 5 of the Limitation Act for condonation of delay.

Limitations are lay down in Limitation Act. In U's case is 90 days.
