Sir,i was employed in govt. among a batch of 70 employees on similar terms I was faked out by a senior official two years ago through a fake office order that my re-engagement was not approved by competent authority. I stopped going at work. Later i came to know that all my juniors were retained and also forgery in issuing the above office order that there was no re-engagement ever in existence and only initial contractual appointment was extended from time to time.Hence I was made fool and compelled to leave the job myself. Can I still take a police/criminal action against the issuing authority for committing forgery?

First of all obtain the certified copy of office order under dispute by way of RTI Act and then serve a legal notice praying therein to take you back in service failing which file a civil suit as well as criminal case against erring official in his personal as well as official capacity.

for obtaining the necessary information, file an rti application to the Public Information Officer of the concerned dept.
proving that the signature is forged is a difficult and time consuming process.
since, your employment is of a contractual nature, do you think it worth taking all this effort?
