Neighbor done excess door panneling capturing corridoor

Hi my neighbor has created door pannels by capturing corridoor common wall adjusent to their door. It has also lighting which may cause short circuit and may lead to a fire event. How can i take a legal actions as per bye laws. I requested him to reduce and limit around his door area but he refuse to do any changes

You issue a legal notice to the neighbor to remove the obstructions he had put in the common area by way of the door panels and also the electrical wiring which pose danger to passersby
If he is not complying with the demand you may either lodge a criminal complaint to the police for the threats to your life and property due to this additional construction and to direct him to remove the same or approach the local civic body/municipality with a complaint for this illegal construction alternately you can file a suit for mandatory injunction to direct him to remove the obstructions he created in the common area.

It is better to settle the issue(s) amicably as you are living and would be living as a "good" neighbour, wherein you may involve other neighbour(s) / respectable person(s) of localty.

However, when you are helpless in sorting out the dispute(s) issue legal notice through a local prudent lawyer and follow it in the appropriate jurisdictional court , which you have to seek professional opinion and guidance.
