untrue medical report

I would like to use a layman word "untrue" medical report, can any one state under which law they are punishable

There are various law under which such person who produced and prepared such false medical report can be punished. It is also important for which purpose such report was used. Departmental as well as penal code sections can be applied in such matter. Decree of such doctor can also be got nullified and his recognition can also be got withdrawn in such matters.

Recently criminal case is initiated in my neighbouring dist., against the doctor and police officer for issuing a false disability certificate and creating a false documents by the police officer in Motor Accident cases.
