Dear Sir,

As my Sister want to separate from his husband and they are having 1.6yesr old daughter.

We just want maintenance for daughter and all the items of household given to him.

please suggest what roll 498 case play during the whole divorce process.

For maintenance your sister will have to file case under PWDV Act .
To give punishment to her husband if he has committed any crime then case u/s 498A lies.
