a demed university stared some degree course without getting approval from ugc. after three years now ugc has gave ex post facto recognition. can a student of the course prosecute the university for cheating

A university can start any course after getting due permission from UGC and if it had started any course violating this term and had also advertised as if the permission has been granted then definitely the sufferer students may initiate legal action against the university, however, the permission has been granted post facto.

I think that when uni.is given expost facto approval action of the uni. is legalised,so no question of any cheating.
