I,
My name is Raghavendra,
Kindly clarify the below points.
1. When a Father acquires a property through partition which is his ancestral property (his grand father had acquired through partition in the year 1940) in the year 2007, whether it is his Absolute property or the joint family property in the hand s of his children`s.
2. If a father above said sells the property i.e. himself and representing his minor children`s, acquired by him by above partition, whether his minor children`s do have any right in that, can they claim after attaining majority.
Kindly clarify

1. it is ancestral property, not joint family property, because it has been partitioned.
2. They can claim. but sons were minors, so he is the natural guardian. The claim would be difficult to get.

Property is not Joint Family Property.
Father has right to sell it, son has no claim till father is alive.
