During arguments my friend was hit by a person, my friend file FIR police would produced in court,the person
now
will the person be sent to jail.
or will he be let off with a fine amount.

Seems to be hypothetical or academic query. The question arises, how you are concerned with the third person, who is not your friend? Also in what manner you are going to be benefitted if he goes to jail or be fined for his offence. Let the law take its own course. Wait for the outcome.
